SURVEY AND COMPILE LEGAL ISSUES RELATED TO CURRENT SANGHA

Abstract

The purpose of this research article is to survey and collect legal issues related to the administration of the Sangha at present. It is research that combines two types of research methods: Documentary Research (Documentary Research) and Qualitative Research (Qualitative Research). Quality from 3 groups of key informants: policy issuers Provincial Action Group and a network group of 28 people. Tools used include interviews and focus group discussion assessments. The research results found that Laws related to the governance of the Sangha at present are divided into two parts: the first part is the law directly related to the governance of the Sangha, such as the Sangha Act, ministerial regulations, the Sangha Rules, etc. The second part is the law of the Sangha. Monks regarding the Sangha as the ruler of the Sangha, such as the rules of the Sangha Supreme Council. Regulations of the Sangha Supreme Council Including the Dhamma and Vinaya, etc. As for the law that the Sangha should know or should know, it is divided into 3 statuses: first status as an official, the second status is as an administrator of a monastic organization, and the third status is as a monk.
