BUDDHADHAMMA INTEGRATION FOR PEOPLE’S POLITICAL TRUST PROMOTION IN LOCAL POLITCIANS AT BANGKRUAY DISTRICT IN NONTHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were: 1. To study the administrative conditions at Bang Kruai Municipality. 2. To study the elements of political trust of citizens in local politicians. and 3. To present the integration of Buddhist principles to promote political trust of citizens in local politicians. at Bang Kruai District Nonthaburi Province, conducted by the qualitative research collected data by in-depth interviewing 19 key informants. Data was analyzed using descriptive content analysis.

The results of the research were found that: 1. Administration at Bang Kruai Municipality: In terms of Man; required personnel development through training for personnel to have up-to-date knowledge and skills.  In term of Money; financial reports must be prepared, and financial information must be disseminated to the public. In terms of Materials, procurement of materials and effective management could serve the public. In term of Machinery; waste management, road maintenance, water and electricity management must be served. 2. Training to be an extrovert person, being fair, speaking honestly with one’s feelings, telling the truth, showing consistency, keeping promises to maintain confidence, demonstrating ability. It was considered an important element that built people's political trust. 3. Integrating Buddhist principles to promote political trust of citizens in local politicians. at Bang Kruai District Nonthaburi Province was found that Dana,charity, kindness, giving help to the people, Piyawaja, beautiful speech, speaking honestly, Atthachariya, helping the people. Perform public service for the people and Samanattata, being consistent in responsibility to the public and people in the community.
