GUIDELINES FOR PROMOTING YOUTH IN THE ERA OF GLOBALIZATION BY LOCAL POLITICIANS

Abstract

This article presents the opinions of Thai youth on the status of local politicians in the era of globalization. It discusses the concept of decentralization, the roles and responsibilities of local politicians, local political problems, and solutions. Since local governments are the basic administrative units of democracy, globalization has brought about significant changes in the political landscape of many countries, including Thailand. With increasing interconnectedness and interdependence among countries, local politicians are faced with new challenges and opportunities. In this article, we examine the status of Thai youth in the role of local politicians in the era of globalization. Youth participation not only helps to create an understanding of the political system, but also effectively presents new ideas that are consistent with the needs and problems of the community. Youth participation in the decision-making process will affect the direction and policies that are developed, so that they can appropriately respond to the real needs of the people in the area.
