APPLICATION OF BUDDHIST PRINCIPLES OF GOOD GOVERNANCE TO PROMOTE THE ADMINISTRATION OF NGIO NGAM SUDBISTRICT MUNICIPALITY MUEANG UTTARADIT DISTRICT UTTARADIT PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aims to 1. study the administration level of Ngio Ngam Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Uttaradit Province, 2. study the relationship between Buddhist governance principles and the administration of Ngio Ngam Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Uttaradit Province, and 3. present the application of Buddhist governance principles to promote the administration of Ngio Ngam Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Uttaradit Province. This research uses a mixed method. By quantitative research from a sample of 327 people, analyzed with descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation coefficient. and qualitative research based on in-depth interviews with 10 key informants. Use content analysis techniques to compile the context and present it in a table. By the frequency distribution of respondents to open-ended questions.

The research results found that 1. The level of administration of Ngio Ngam Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Uttaradit Province, was found to be at a high level overall. When classified by aspect, it was found that the aspect of education management that focused on educational standards, the aspect of health management that focused on the four dimensions of well-being of people in the community, the aspect of promoting quality of life that passed basic criteria and providing comprehensive community welfare, the aspect of promoting the economy that emphasized sufficiency in living, and the aspect of modern management that met national standards were at a high level in all aspects. 2. The relationship between Buddhist governance and administration has a very high positive relationship, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level. and 3. The guidelines for applying Buddhist governance should be as follows: Use Buddhist principles together with wisdom for effective administration; promote diligence to drive work and develop communities; adhere to the principles of transparency and honesty to build trust; promote good relationships with all sectors and participation; and apply Buddhist governance principles to help make administration effective, transparent, and lead to sustainable community development.
