This article aimed to study strategies for human resource development based on Buddhist principles in an era where economic, social, and technological changes were occurring rapidly. Human resource development had thus become a core component in building strength for both organizations and society in a sustainable way. This article presented an approach to human resource development according to Buddhist teachings, focusing on the application of the principles of the Threefold Training (Ti-sikkha: Sila, Samadhi, and Pañña), the Four Iddhipada: Chanda, Viriya, Citta and Vimamsa, and the Four Brahmavihara: Metta, Karana, Mudita and Upekkha as key strategies to develop internal qualities of individuals in terms of ethics, concentration, wisdom, and compassion. The goal was to cultivate high-quality personnel with a strong work ethic, who could coexist harmoniously with others and find happiness in their work. The strategy for human resource development based on Buddhist principles was thus an essential solution for developing personnel in this challenging era, ensuring that employees possess desirable qualities and experience continuous development in all aspects. This led to a balance between the mind and work efficiency, resulting in an organization with personnel capable of performing effectively.
