Abstract

Application of Copyright Law to AI Technology in Education Laws related to copyright infringement and AI technology in Thailand and abroad, and study and analyze the application of copyright law to AI technology in order to apply it in education for speed in researching and studying various information for both students and teachers. In an era where technology is rapidly advancing and questions about the legal rights of artificial intelligence (AI) have become important issues that need to be answered, especially copyright in the era of AI technology. The case that created change and sparked debate was Thaler v. Perlmutter, which considered whether works created by AI can be copyrighted. The development of AI technology has allowed AI to create more complex and creative works, which leads to the question of whether these works should be protected by law. Copyright law was originally designed to protect works created by humans, creating legal gaps in dealing with works created by AI. This problem affects the creative industry, AI developers, and society as a whole.
