Abstract

This academic article aimed to study the role of Thai citizens in creating participation in the fight against corruption. The research method used was textbooks, books, online media, and the synthesis of the results from the study. It was found that the role of citizens in foreign countries in participating in the fight against corruption takes many forms, such as participating in public activities, monitoring the performance of the government and politicians, and using bottom-up anti-corruption mechanisms with the public sector as an important part. In Thailand, citizens play a role in solving such problems in the form of questioning what is right for society, moving to expose corruption, using the media mechanism as a mouthpiece, and the role of Thai citizens, especially youth, to be good citizens who will not be a burden to society and can live happily in society, i.e. developing good ideas, concepts, and attitudes that will make society more livable and less corrupt.
