INTEGRATING THE PRINCIPLES OF IDDHIPADHAM TO PROMOTE THE EFFECTIVENESS ACCORDING TO THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF THE NONG RATCHAWAT SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION AT NONG YA SAI DISTRICT IN SUPHAN BURI PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were: 1. To examine the level of operational effectiveness according to the local development plan of the Nong Ratchawat Sub-District Administrative Organization, Nong Ya Sai District, Suphan Buri Province 2. To compare Public perceptions of operational effectiveness regarding the local development plan of the Nong Ratchawat Sub-District Administrative Organization, classified by personal factors and 3. To propose the integration of Iddhipada principles, Path of Accomplishment, to enhance the operational effectiveness of local development plan implementation. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, using quantitative data analysis through frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance. Qualitative data were analyzed using content descriptive interpretation.

Research Findings were as follows: The overall operational effectiveness of the Sub-District Administrative Organization was found to be at a high level. The highest average was in the structural effectiveness aspect, followed by public satisfaction, while the lowest was in the learning aspect. When comparing result by personal factors, statistically significant differences were found in age, income, and occupation. No significant differences were found by gender and education level overall, though some differences appeared in specific dimensions. The proposed integration of Iddhipada principles to enhance operational effectiveness includes: 1. Chanda; fostering motivation and willingness to contribute to local development. 2. Viriya; promoting diligence and responsibility among staff 3. Citta; encouraging attentiveness, care, and continuous monitoring in performance; and 4. Vimamsa; enhancing critical thinking, analysis, and the use of contextual knowledge for improving development operations.
