Abstract

This academic article aims to study Buddhist leadership in organizational management. Through research from books, textbooks, and related studies, and through analysis and synthesis, it was found that: 1. Leadership is the use of influence or special power as a motivation to command or direct subordinates to work efficiently and effectively for the organization, maximizing benefits. Buddhist leadership, on the other hand, is the integration of Buddhist teachings, principles of monastic administration, or concepts, opinions, and theories from various scholars to achieve complete leadership in organizational management. 2. Buddhist organizational management involves applying Buddhist principles to organizational management, including avoiding the four biases (bias due to like, dislike, delusion, and fear), and the second principle of impartiality (Dutiyapapanikadhamma): 1. Cakkhuma (vision), meaning having foresight, the ability to plan, and assign the right people to the right jobs; 2. Vidhuro (expertise), meaning having specialized knowledge and skills to manage work efficiently; and 3. Nissayasampanno (good interpersonal skills), meaning having good relationships, being able to build networks, and gaining the trust of others. This enables efficient organizational management.
