THE POLITICAL EXPRESSION OF YOUTH GROUPS

Abstract

This article aims to study the political expression of the new generation of youth. From the political expression, it was found that 1. political injustice in the past decade and 2. the new generation sees the importance of the problems that will happen to them when they grow up more and more, resulting in the power of political movement on online media, using social media as the main mechanism for communication, building a support base, which is a platform that the new generation likes to use. Later, this group of people became an important force in the rally to demand the presentation of policies, various political contents, and new possibilities that create hope for the new generation, along with symbolic expressions. For this reason, various political parties have tried to find channels to communicate with the electorate, including sending candidates to present various policies to motivate and attract more votes from the new generation, such as the Move Forward Party, which was created from the Future Forward Party, which focuses on presenting policies that mostly focus on the Thai democratic system and those in power in Thai political society. It aims to change Thai political society towards a better future, such as reforming the military, reducing economic monopolies, distributing income, and reforming education, until it becomes the image of a political party that represents the new generation.
