This academic article aims to study the main concepts and theories of Human Resource Development, as well as to analyze the impacts and opportunities arising from the proliferation of Artificial Intelligence on Human Resource Development processes in Thai organizations and society. Using the frameworks of human capital theory, organizational learning theory, and future skills concepts, the study found that Artificial Intelligence generates both opportunities and risks for the workforce, particularly in terms of automating repetitive tasks, creating new high-skill positions, and the urgent need for reskilling and upskilling. The article proposes a five-dimensional development framework for preparing Thai human resources in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, comprising: Dimension 1 reforming curricula and learning processes for the Artificial Intelligence era, Dimension 2 building a lifelong learning ecosystem, Dimension 3 developing quadruple helix collaboration mechanisms, Dimension 4 promoting equitable access to development opportunities, and Dimension 5 establishing Human Resource Development evaluation and monitoring systems for the Artificial Intelligence era. All five dimensions must be implemented simultaneously in an integrated and sustained manner.
