THE DEVELOPING OF COMMUNICATION FOR A CORRUPTION- FREE SOCIETY OF LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATIONS IN HUAIYOT DISTRICT, TRANG PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aims to 1. study the communication for a corruption-free society for local government agencies in Huaiyot District, Trang Province. 2. study the components for a corruption-free society of local government organizations in Huaiyot District, Trang Province. and 3. present the application of the right speech principle to develop the communication of a corruption-free society of local administrative organizations to the people in Huaiyot District, Trang Province. Mixed-method research was used, with in-depth interviews with 18 key informants or people. Data were analyzed using descriptive content analysis and quantitative research. Data were collected from a sample of 399 people. Data was analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and correlation analysis.

The research results found that 1. Communication to create a society free of corruption was at a high level overall when considering each aspect in the following order: public participation, information disclosure, campaign communication, and dissemination of good examples were at a high level. As for promoting independent media and supporting reporting of corruption, they were at a moderate level, respectively. 2. communication elements Able to jointly predict communication in a corruption-free society by 75.4%, Social institutions can joint predict by 55.2 %, and the principle of right speech can jointly predict by 52.7 %, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level. 3.The application of the principle of right speech to develop the communication of a corruption-free society of local administrative organizations to the people in Huaiyot District, Trang Province, found as follows: Communication is straightforward. Makes the listener aware of accurate and complete information Build trust in society Using polite and friendly language makes people feel respected and cared for. Building confidence among the people. Principles of speaking useful words Clear information gives citizens the feeling that they are involved in development and can monitor the organization's work. There are channels for sending messages. People can easily follow. Showing transparency and local government organizations are the recipients of the message Listen to people's opinions and suggestions.
