Abstract

This article aimed to 1) develop and validate a causal relationship model of loyalty to purchase karate courses on Facebook pages and 2) study causal factors influencing loyalty to purchase karate courses on Facebook pages among consumers in Bangkok and metropolitan areas. This quantitative research utilized an online questionnaire to collect data from a sample of 200 consumers who had previously purchased karate courses via Facebook pages and resided in Bangkok and metropolitan areas. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM). Findings revealed that the developed causal relationship model, comprising four components: 1) service quality, 2) relationship quality, 3) satisfaction, and 4) loyalty, exhibited a favorable model fit with the empirical data (χ²=159.405, df=157, χ²/df=1.015, GFI=0.927, AGFI=0.902, CFI=0.990, RMSEA=0.009). Service quality and satisfaction were found to have a statistically significant direct effect on consumer loyalty. Therefore, martial arts academies should apply these findings as a guideline for formulating digital marketing strategies by focusing on elevating service standards, specifically through prompt responses to inquiries and offering a wider variety of payment channels, which will subsequently foster continued loyalty in purchasing karate courses.
