ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการตัดสินใจศึกษาต่อในมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนไทย ของนักศึกษาจีน

บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล เหตุผลส่วนตัว ภาพลักษณ์สถาบัน และปัจจัยด้านหลักสูตรที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจศึกษาต่อของนักศึกษาจีนในมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนไทย 2) เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปร 3) เพื่อตรวจสอบอิทธิพลเชิงสาเหตุด้วยการถดถอยพหุคูณ และ 4) เพื่อสังเคราะห์ข้อเสนอเชิงกลยุทธ์ รูปแบบการวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยผสานวิธีใช้แนวคิดทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับเหตุผลส่วนตัว หลักสูตร ภาพลักษณ์ การตัดสินใจศึกษาต่อ และ SWOT และ TOWS Matrix เป็นกรอบแนวคิด พื้นที่วิจัย คือ มหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษาจีน 381 คน ใช้วิธีการคัดเลือกแบบสะดวก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย มี 2 ชนิด คือ 1) แบบสอบถาม 2) แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงโครงสร้าง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพื้นฐาน/สถิติเชิงอ้างอิง ในกรณีการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ส่วนการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ใช้วิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเชิงธีมแล้วเขียนบรรยายเชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ผู้ตอบให้ความสำคัญต่อปัจจัยด้านหลักสูตรสูงสุด รองลงมา คือ ภาพลักษณ์ และเหตุผลส่วนตัว 2) ตัวแปรอิสระมีความสัมพันธ์กับการตัดสินใจในระดับสูง (r = 0.758–0.876; p < 0.001) 3) โมเดลถดถอยมีความเหมาะสม (R = 0.884; R² = 0.782; F = 449.693; p < 0.001) โดยหลักสูตรมีอิทธิพลสูงสุด (β = 0.621; p < 0.001) และ 4) การสังเคราะห์ SWOT/TOWS มหาวิทยาลัยควรใช้จุดแข็งด้านหลักสูตร และความร่วมมือกับสถาบันจีนเพื่อสร้างกลยุทธ์เชิงรุก และพัฒนาบริการสนับสนุนเฉพาะกลุ่ม เพื่อ
ลดความเสี่ยง และอุปสรรค ข้อค้นพบสำคัญ คือ คุณภาพ และความสอดคล้องของหลักสูตรเป็นแรงขับหลักของการตัดสินใจ ขณะที่ภาพลักษณ์ช่วยลดความไม่แน่นอน และเหตุผลส่วนตัวมีอิทธิพลเชิงบวก
