A Causal Model of Factors Influencing Organizational Commitment of Private School Teacher in the Southern Region

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to study a causal model of factors influencing organizational commitment of Private School Teachers in the Southern Region and to study a causal model of factors influencing organizational commitment of Private School Teachers in the Southern Region with empirical data. The research sample consisted of 414 teachers in Private School in the Southern Region under Office of the Private Education Commission. The analytical methods of this research consisted of descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient; confirm factor analysis and structural equation model by LISREL.
The results indicated that the perceived organizational support factor and positive psychological capital factors contribute directly to organizational commitment of Private school teachers in the Southern Region. However, another two factors, which were job satisfaction factor and organizational citizenship behavior, had no statistically significant. Also, a causal model of factors influencing organizational commitment of Private School Teachers in the Southern Region under Office of the Private Education Commission was consistent with empirical data as criterion as follow: Ⅹ²=192.40, df=151 GFI=0.96, AGFI=0.94, RMSEA=0.026. All factors could explain the variation of organizational commitment of Private School Teachers in the Southern Region 67 percent.
