Predictive Power of Positive Psychological Capital to Working Performance of Nursing Faculties, Southern Boromarajonani College of Nursing

Abstract
This predictive correlational research aimed to study the predictive power of positive psychological capital to working performance of Nursing Faculties, Southern Boromarajonani College of Nursing. The sample was 84 lecturers who worked in Southern Boromarajonani College of Nursing. Research instrument was developed by researcher, consisting of three parts: general information, positive psychological capitals, and working performance. Content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by 3 experts. And its reliability was examined using Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient yielding a value of .95. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and simple linear regression. The study found the following: Overall score of the positive psychological capital (=3.99, S.D.=0.42) and working performance were at a high level (=4.06, S.D.=0.48). The positive psychological capital predicted for 42.10 % variance in the working performance of Nursing Faculties, Southern Boromarajonani College of Nursing (P<.001).
