Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aimed to 1) compare factors that affect tourists’ selection of homestay in the Andaman tourism development area and 2) rank homestay selection with adjusted SVNSs and TOPSIS-based multiple decision-making criteria. A questionnaire was used for gathering data from 400 respondents selected using a stratified random sampling. The statistical data analysis comprised mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The study results showed that age and frequency differences in homestay service selection in the Andaman tourism development area had a significantly different effect on homestay selection at the level of .05. According to homestay selection ranking with adjusted SVNSs and TOPSIS-based multiple decision-making criteria, the first ranked homestay was found to be Koh Libong Community's Tourism for Conservation Club in Trang Province.
