Abstract
Preparation Guideline for Climate Change in Coastal Tourism Industry
Climate change causes environment crisis that has started to impact on food production and economic sectors facing around the world including Thailand. Meanwhile, the regulations and requirements under the international agreements which aim to reduce the emission of the Greenhouse Effects even increase global warming or higher temperatures on the earth. Moreover, the climate change has made the situation and the decline of natural resources and the environment deteriorating; especially on the pollution problem, the global warming, the coastal erosion, the drought and the flood that affected to the atmosphere of many tourist attractions. Particularly, the coastal tourism industry sector has been affected both directly and indirectly. This article aims to review the impacts of how climate change affecting tourism industry along the coast and preparation for the situation. It presents relevant theoretical framework on how to cope with climate change in the coastal tourism industry. Results obtained from the study can be applied to all people.
