ศักยภาพทรัพยากรการท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) บริบทเชิงพื้นที่ บริบทเชิงการท่องเที่ยวของจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา และ (2) ประเมินศักยภาพของทรัพยากรการท่องเที่ยวพื้นที่จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา
วิธีการศึกษา (1) สำรวจบริบทเชิงพื้นที่ และตรวจสอบทรัพยากรการท่องเที่ยวภายในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา (2) สัมภาษณ์เจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยงานภาครัฐที่เกี่ยวข้อง ผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวและผู้นำชุมชน จำนวน 25 คน และ (3) สอบถามความพึงพอใจต่อศักยภาพของแหล่งท่องเที่ยวจากนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย จำนวน 400 คน

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา มีศักยภาพของแหล่งท่องเที่ยวในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาอยู่ในระดับมาก (=3.87, S.D.=0.47) ซึ่งจำแนกเป็นศักยภาพรายด้าน ได้ดังนี้ (1) ด้านทรัพยากรท่องเที่ยวของพื้นที่ อยู่ในระดับมาก (=4.05, S.D.=0.51) (2) ด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรอย่างยั่งยืน อยู่ในระดับมาก (=3.77, S.D.=0.53) (3) ด้านการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน นักท่องเที่ยวและผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง อยู่ในระดับมาก (=3.76, S.D.=0.61) และ (4) ด้านกิจกรรม การเรียนรู้และการปลูกจิตสำนึกอยู่ในระดับมาก (=3.90, S.D.=0.56) ทั้งนี้การศึกษาศักยภาพแหล่งท่องเที่ยว เพื่อกำหนดยุทธศาสตร์ แผนงาน/โครงการ ทำให้เกิดการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาที่มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น โดยคำนึงถึงความสมดุลทางด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม วัฒนธรรม และสิ่งแวดล้อม แบบบูรณาการอย่างมีส่วนร่วมของทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อนำไปสู่การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน

The Potential of Tourism Resources in Ayutthaya Province

The aims of this research were (1) studying the contextual of area based and tourism based in Ayutthaya and (2) evaluating the potential of tourism resources in Ayutthaya. The method of this research were (1) surveying on the area based and inspecting on internal tourism resources of Ayutthaya province, (2) interviewing 25 samples who worked as involved government officials, tourism operators and community leaders, and (3) making an inquiring on the satisfactions of tourism attractions from 400 Thai tourists.

The results of this research showed that the attraction potential of Ayutthaya province was at a high level (=3.87, S.D.=0.47). It was divided into 4 aspects; (1) the potential of tourism resources was at a high level (=4.05, S.D.=0.51), (2) the potential of sustainable resources management was at a high level (=3.77, S.D.=0.53), (3) the potential of participation among communities, tourists and other participants was at a high level (=3.76, S.D.=0.61), and (4) the potential of learning activities and awareness was at a high level (=3.90, S.D.=0.56). The study of tourist attraction potential can be use to determine strategic plan or project in order to develop and increase the tourism efficiency in Ayutthaya Province. The development that realized on the balancing of economic, social, culture and environment will lead to the participated integration of all sectors for sustainable development.
