การรับรู้สิทธิผู้ป่วยของผู้ป่วยใน โรงพยาบาลสวนสราญรมย์ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้สิทธิของผู้ป่วย การได้รับการปฏิบัติตามสิทธิผู้ป่วยของผู้ป่วยใน เปรียบเทียบคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคลของผู้ป่วยใน กับการรับรู้เรื่องสิทธิของผู้ป่วยในการได้รับการปฏิบัติตามสิทธิผู้ป่วยของผู้ป่วยใน และเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาการรับรู้สิทธิผู้ป่วยและการได้รับการปฏิบัติตามสิทธิผู้ป่วยของผู้ป่วยในโรงพยาบาลสวนสราญรมย์ ประชากรที่ใช้เป็นผู้ป่วยในของโรงพยาบาลสวนสราญรมย์ จังหวัดสุราษฏร์ธานี จำนวน 250 คน จากประชากรทั้งหมด เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล โดยใช้ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่า t-test ค่า F-test ค่า Mean Rank และ Mann-Whitney U test เพื่อทดสอบความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การรับรู้สิทธิผู้ป่วยของผู้ป่วยด้านการรับรู้เรื่องสิทธิของผู้ป่วยในการตัดสินใจเกี่ยวกับการรักษาพยาบาล และด้านสิทธิในความเป็นส่วนตัวอยู่ในระดับน้อย การได้รับการปฏิบัติตามสิทธิของผู้ป่วยพบว่า ผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการปฏิบัติตามสิทธิในด้านที่จะได้รับบริการทางสุขภาพ ด้านสิทธิที่จะได้รับข้อมูล ด้านสิทธิในการตัดสินใจเกี่ยวกับการรักษาพยาบาล และด้านสิทธิในความเป็นส่วนตัว อยู่ในระดับปานกลางทั้ง 4 ด้าน ผลเปรียบเทียบการรับรู้สิทธิของผู้ป่วยและการได้รับการปฏิบัติตามสิทธิผู้ป่วยของผู้ป่วยพบว่า ส่วนใหญ่คุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคลจะมีความสัมพันธ์กับการรับรู้สิทธิผู้ป่วยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ในขณะที่การได้รับการปฏิบัติตามสิทธิผู้ป่วย ลักษณะส่วนบุคคลจะไม่มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ส่วนผลการกำหนดแนวทางการพัฒนาการรับรู้และการได้รับการปฏิบัติตามสิทธิของผู้ป่วยในมีหลายแนวทางพบว่า สามารถดำเนินการได้ทั้งการฝึกอบรม การเรียนรู้รายบุคคล และรายกลุ่มในชุมชน การประชาสัมพันธ์ในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ตลอดจนการแนะนำสร้างจิตสำนึกแก่บุคลากรทางการแพทย์และบุคคลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับผู้ป่วย

Awareness of Patients’Rights by In-Patients in Suan Saranrom Hospital, Surat Thani

This study aimed to examined in-patients’awareness of rights to medical care, compare their individual characteristics and awareness of the rights and offer suggestions such as awareness among patients in Suan Saranrom Hospital, Surat Thani. A sample of 250 in-patients in the hospital was selected. A questionnaire was used as the instrument. Statistical analysis was performed to obtain values of percentages, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, mean rank, and Mann Whitney U test. It was found that the patients’ awareness of their right to making decisions related to medical treatments was at a low level. However, the medical treatments they received in terms of right to health service, right to be informed, right to making decisions of treatments, and rights to privacy were at a moderate level. Results also showed that there was a connection between the patient’s individual characteristics and their awareness of rights to medical care at .05 level of statistical significance. Nevertheless, no relationship was found individual characteristics and the treatments they received. It was suggested that development of awareness schemes and appropriate treatments according to in-patients’ rights could be done through different ways. Among them are provision of trainings, individual and group education in the community, establishing good public relations in various forms as well as raising awareness in medical personnel and patients related individuals.
