ประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดตามทัศนะของบุคลากร ทางการศึกษาในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 12 จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดตามทัศนะของบุคลากรทางการศึกษาในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา 2) ความแตกต่างของประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดตามตัวแปรเพศ ตำแหน่ง ประสบการณ์การทำงาน และขนาดของโรงเรียน และ 3) ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะ กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบโควตา จากผู้บริหาร ครูบรรณารักษ์ และครู จำนวน 348 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถามทัศนะเกี่ยวกับประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดโรงเรียน ในด้านงานบริหารห้องสมุด ด้านงานเทคนิคห้องสมุด ด้านงานบริการและกิจกรรมห้องสมุด เป็นแบบมาตรประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ ที่มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นโดยภาพรวม 0.96 และด้านงานบริหารห้องสมุด 0.96 ด้านงานเทคนิคห้องสมุด 0.79 ด้านงานบริการและกิจกรรมห้องสมุด 0.80 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบทางเดียว และเปรียบเทียบพหุคูณด้วยวิธี LSD

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดตามทัศนะของบุคลากรทางการศึกษา ในภาพรวมและรายด้านอยู่ในระดับดี บุคลากรทางการศึกษาที่มีเพศต่างกันมีทัศนะต่อประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดโดยภาพรวมไม่แตกต่างกัน เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบความแตกต่างด้านงานเทคนิคอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 บุคลากรทางการศึกษาที่มีตำแหน่งต่างกันมีทัศนะต่อประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดโดยภาพรวมและรายด้านไม่แตกต่างกัน บุคลากรทางการศึกษาที่มีประสบการณ์การทำงานต่างกันมีทัศนะต่อประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดโดยภาพรวมและเมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบความแตกต่างด้านงานเทคนิคแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 ส่วนด้านงานบริหาร และด้านงานบริการและกิจกรรมแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และบุคลากรทางการศึกษาที่ปฏิบัติงานในโรงเรียนที่มีขนาดต่างกันมีทัศนะต่อประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานห้องสมุดโดยภาพรวมและรายด้านทุกด้านแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 

Perceptions of Library Management  Effectiveness of Educational Personnel in Nakhon Si Thammarat Secondary Schools Educational Area 12

The objectives of this research were to study 1) the effectiveness of secondary school library management as perceived by educational personnel in Nakhon Si Thammarat 2) the differences in the effectiveness of the library management in relevance to gender, work position, work experience, and school size, and 3) the suggestions for library management. Three hundred and forty-eight subjects were randomly selected from school administrators, librarian teachers, and teachers using quota sampling. The data were collected through a rating-scale questionnaire eliciting their perceptions of the effectiveness of their respective library management in terms of its administration, technical support, services and activities. The overall reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.96. Specifically, the reliability coefficients related to administration, technical support, services and activities were 0.96, 0.79, and 0.80 respectively. The statistics used in the analysis of data included percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA and LSD multiple comparisons.

It was revealed that the personnel perceived the library management as a whole and in each individual aspect as good level. There was no difference between males and females on their overall perceptions towards library management. However, different perceptions on the technical services was found at .05 level of significance. There was no significant difference of the overall perceptions and each aspect among those with different work positions. In addition, the perceptions of the overall management and of the technical aspect among personnel’s experiences were significantly different at .001 level. Such differences were also statistically significant in the aspects of administration, services and activities at .01 level. Last, the differences of overall perceptions and each aspect among those who worked in different school sizes were significant at .05 level.
