Abstract

The objective of research article “The moral teacher monk competency development of Sangha in region 1” was: study the moral teacher monk competency development of Sangha in region 1. The methodology was quantitative research. The simple was moral teacher monk in Sangha region 1 of 240 people. The data collection conducted by using the questionnaire. The data analysis followed by research objective used social science application. The statistic used Frequency Percentage and Standard Deviation.

            The research findings were:

            Human resource development in overall was at highest level ( =4.70). Each aspect indicated that training aspect ( =4.70) followed by education aspect ( =4.70) and development aspect ( =4.69) which all aspects were at highest level respectively.

            Development according to Sikkhā in overall was at highest level ( =4.69). Each aspect indicated that Sīla aspect ( =4.71) followed by Samādhi aspect ( =4.69) and Paññā aspect ( =4.69) which all aspects were at highest level respectively.
