Personnel’s Opinions on Good Governance-based Administration by The Thong Thani Municipality in Thawatburi District, RoiEt Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study personnel’s opinions on Thong Thani Municipality’s good governance-based administration, 2) to compare their opinions on its good governance-based administration and 3) to regulate suggestions for its governance-based administration. The use quantitative research methods. The sampling group comprised 83 personnel pertaining to the municipality. The research instrument was questionnaires dealing with personal data and their opinions on its governance-based administration, gaining the reliability at .83. The computer software package was used for analyzing fundamental statistics and referential ones of t-test and F-test (One-way ANOVA). Outcomes of the research summarized the following major findings: 1) Personnel’s opinions on its good governance-based administration were comprehensively rated ‘more’ in all five aspects ( = 3.69, S.D.=0.83). 2) The comparative results of their opinions on its good governance-based administration indicated that variables of their genders, ages and working experiences showed no significant differences in the overall aspect. 3) Their suggestions in descending order of three frequencies for its good governance-based administration were recommended. First, personnel should carry out their tasks conducive to honesty, integrity and accountability, actually looking forward to residents’ benefits and welfares. Secondly, administrative systems facilitating workflow.
