A Comparison Result of Learning using Online Learning and Normal Learning in Macroeconomic Class

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to compare the learning outcomes of macroeconomics class in the academic term 1/2019  of students who use online media to study and normal learning to study, the population used in the research are students in accounting department, faculty of business administration and information technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, semester 1/2019, consisting of 2 study groups in both groups with 27 students equal. Measure the learning outcomes by using scores from the knowledge test after each lesson. Two-tailed t-test statistics, independent populations were used to compare average scores of the students in both groups specify the significance value of statistical hypothesis testing equal to 0.05. The result of the research shows that the average scores of the students in both groups were not different in the lessons 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 because the P-value is higher than the significance value of the hypothesis testing (p-value > 0.05) and The average scores of the students learning through online teaching and normal teaching media had different in lessons 5 and 8 because the P-value is less than the significance of the hypothesis testing (p-value < 0.05). In addition, when comparing the average scores of each lesson, the research results show that The average scores of the students learning through online teaching higher than the average scores of students in the group learning by using the normal learning in every lesson.
