The development of learning management model following STEM Education for enhancing creative thinking with the process of engineering design in light for secondary level-2 students

Abstract

This study was the research and development design. The objectives were to 1) explore the context and need analysis of the learning management model following STEM Education, 2) establish and develop the learning management model following STEM Education, 3) test the learning management model following STEM Education, 4) evaluate learning activities model following STEM Education. A sample was selected from thirty-two students who were studying in secondary level-2/9 in Phibunmangsahan School, Phibunmangsahan District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, semester 2 of 2018 academic year. Research instruments were 1) learning management model, 2) learning evolutional test, 3) creative thinking test  4) satisfaction questionnaire used to analyze the data by means of percentage, standard deviation, and dependent sample t-test.  The results of this study were found 1. the context and need analysis of Phibunmangsahan school was appropriate in highest level, 2. the development of the learning management consisted of 1) principle and objectives components, 2) process components.  3) condition components of promotion learning activities. 3. The result of learning management model was 83.20/82.66, which had higher than the standard criteria.   4. The evaluation of the learning management model found that 4.1 testing of after learning management was higher significant than the results before the learning management, 4.2.
