DEVELOPMENT OF ACHIEVEMENT ON USING“几”AND“多少”OF SECOND-YEAR STUDENTS IN CHINESE LANGUAGE PROGRAM OF NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY BY USING LANGUAGE DRILLING SET

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the differences in usage between “几”and“多少”, and to develop effectiveness of application of 40 second-year students, academic year 2016, in Chinese language study at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, by using skills training set. The research tools consisted of 1) Learning Management Plan by utilizing Skills Training Set, which obtained efficacy index of skills training set at 85.50/83.50, and 2) Assessment Tool employed Learning Achievement Test in using “几”and“多少”,where each question has difficulty index between 50 – 60% which is considered as an appropriate level. The data analysis used percentage, mean (), the standard deviation, difficulty index, effectiveness index, and t-test for independent sample based on the difference scores.  According to the research, it was found that the application of “几”and“多少”can be both replaceable and irreplaceable. In regards to 18 structures, they can be replaced to each other in 2 structures and cannot be replaced to each other in 16 structures. In regards to the learning achievement, the use of“几”and“多少”of the target students was found that before they used the practical packages, their understanding of every structure was 18.82 ( = 18.82), the mean of 40 students. However, after the learning with practical packages, the mean is 25.83 ( = 25.8). Comparing to the two results, it was found that the mean increases 7.01 ( = 7.01). In accordance with the results and the criteria, it was evident that after students used the practical packages, their skill increases; it demonstrates that their learning achievement is better that the time before learning.
