Guidelines for Conducting Student Caring System of Small-Sized Schools under Uthai Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

The purposes of this research were to: 1) study problems and guidelines for student caring system of small-sized schools under Uthai Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. and 2) develop guidelines for student caring system of small-sized schools under Uthai Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The research findings were as follows: 1. The problems of conducting student caring system as a whole was at the moderate level. To consider in each aspect found that the highest problem was on knowing individual students, as the least problem was on student’s supporting and developing. 2. The guidelines for student caring system of small-sized schools under Uthai Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 comprised 5 components were: 1) knowing individual students, teachers should realize on student caring system and take recorded-data from documents to analyze correctly and clearly, 2) screening students, schools should have plans for solving problems of at-risk students and problem students, and plans for supporting and developing of general students and special students. Additionally, schools should have follow-up for auditing results and develop students continuously, 3) supporting and developing students, schools should provide activities for promoting students’ interests and aptitudes. Furthermore, schools should strongly do homeroom activities, 4) preventing and solving problems, schools should provide activities that make teachers love students and students’ home visits to solve problems systematically, and 5) student’s transferring, schools should have clear steps of student’s transferring, and information technology for student caring system in order to manage in student caring effectively in the future.
