The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop the lesson plan which is created by using assessment for learning cooperated with problem-based learning to permit Mathematics problem solving ability of grade 6 students ; and 2) to study the result of using assessment for learning cooperated with problem-based learning lesson plan in grade 6 class. This research is a type of research and development. It consists of the development of assessment for learning and problem-based learning lesson plan to promote student ability, and the procedure of tryout the developed lesson plan to develop the Mathematics problem solving ability of student and to improve the lesson plan after using. The target group was 14 grade 6 students who at Wat Krachang School in the second semester of academic year 2018. The research instrument were 1) worksheet and 2) exercise that was set the problem situation as independent variable to analyze the problem, formulate the problem solving solutions, show the problem solving solution and verify the accuracy of the answer. 3) Mathematics problem solving test that tested as pre-test and post-test. Scores from pre-test and post-test were analyzed for mean score, standard deviation and t-test dependent statistics. The findings was as follows: 1. The developed lesson plan in this research includes six learning plans, pre-test and post test by using Assessment for Learning and Problem Based Learning for learning management. 2. The developed lesson plan permits Mathematics problem solving ability according to the specified standards and indicators. The mean score from worksheet and exercise in all lesson plan passed the defined criteria. The comparison between mean score of Mathematics problem solving pre-test and post-test was statistically significant at .05 level, the mean score of post-test is higher than the mean score of pre-test.
