The Development of Supervision Model for Improving the Education Quality of Secondary Schools

Abstract

This quantitative research aimed to develop an educational supervision model of for improving the education quality of secondary schools. The model developed was based on the expert assessment and field experiment. The targets of the first method were 7 experts evaluating the model and the schools in Muang Dokbou group under the secondary educational service area office 29 for the second one. There were two variables: the independent variable was the educational supervision model and the dependent variable was the suitability of the model. The research instruments were the educational supervision model, the evaluation form and educational supervision form. The statistics used for data analysis were mean and standard deviation. The research results showed that the supervision model for improving the education quality of secondary schools was called SOLE Online Model. There were 4 elements: the principle of the model, the purpose of the model, supervision process, and condition for success. The processes consisted of 4 steps: 1) searching 2) organizing 3) learning) and 4) evaluating and extending. The model developed according to the expert assessments and the field trial was found at the highest level of suitability with mean values 4.85 and 4.63 respectively.
