The Development of the Life Skills of Early Childhood Children in 21st Century according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy by the Involvement of the Parents in the Network of Professional Schools

Abstract

This research aims to (1) compare the life skills of early childhood children in the 21st century according to sufficiency economy philosophy before and after parents' involvement, and (2) to study parents' satisfaction for involvement in order to develop the life skills of early childhood children in the 21st century according to sufficiency economy philosophy. The reseach samples were 15 early childhood children who were five to six years old, and studied in kindergarten level 2 of the first semester, academic year 2020, and 15 parents of the early childhood children. There were five research tools that are the involvement program, the activity plan, the skill development manual, the skill assessment form, and the satisfaction assessment form. The statistics for analysis were mean and standard deviation (S.D.) The research results have been found that (1) the early childhood children had the life skills in the 21st century according to sufficiency economy philosophy increasingly with statistically significant at level .05. And when considering in each espect, the results were found that all of each espect were significantly higher at level .05. Especially for the adjustment espect was at the highest level. The responsibility espect and the problem solving espect had the high scores in descending order. (2) Parents had the highest satisfaction in overall (Mean = 4.52, S.D. = 0.43) for joining the involvement program to develop the life skills of the early childhood children in 21st century according to sufficiency economy philopsophy.
