A study of employee opinions towards Organizational Culture and The Learning Organization of The Metropolitan Electricity Authority

This study aims to1) To study the level of employees' opinions towards the organizational culture of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority. 2) To study the level of opinions of employees towards being a learning organization of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority; and 3) To study the relationship of organizational culture and the learning organization of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority. This is a quantitative research collecting data by using a questionnaire from a sample group of 385 MEA employees. The method was used to determine the sample by Taro Yamane's method at the sample dynamics of 0.05. It was analyzed by finding the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested by t-test and one-way variance test using One-Way ANOVA and correlation correlation was found. 1) The level of employee opinion towards the organizational culture was found that the overall level of opinion towards the organizational culture was at a high level. ( = 3.93, S.D = 0.65) The item with the highest level of opinion is Harmonious, working as a team ( = 4.19, S.D = 0.72) and the item with the lowest level of opinion is Own a tight organization ( = 3.57, S.D = 0.54) 2) The level of employees' opinions towards being a learning organization found that overall, it was a learning organization at a high level. ( = 3.68, S.D = 0.64) The item with the highest level of opinion was that it was a knowledge-based learning organization. ( = 3.75 , S.D =0.61) and the item with the lowest level of opinion is learning( = 3.55 , S.D =0.69) 3) The relationship of organizational culture and learning organization of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority found that Employees' opinions towards the relationship of organizational culture of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, classified by gender, age, educational level. practice position Average monthly income Operational experience It was found that there was no relationship with the organizational culture of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority. statistically significant at the 0.05 level
