Job Satisfaction to Works that Effects on The Employee Engagement of The Mattress Sales Company at Bang Bon District

Abstract

The research objectives are (1) to explore factor levels of job satisfaction and employee engagement (2) to compare employee engagement factors among the staffs, classified by personal factors, and (3) to present the relationship between job satisfaction and employee engagement of the mattress sales company at Bang Bon district. The research employs quantitative method by using a close-ended questionnaire for survey research. Data were collected from 300 persons working in the mattress sales company at Bang Bon district under the concept of Krejcie & Morgan (1970). The research was conceptualized to analyze the percentage, mean, standard deviation, One-way ANOVA by Lease Significant Difference (LSD) and Pearson's correlation by using a statistical software. The research findings revealed that (1) factor job satisfaction was in high level (=3.81, S.D.= 0.563), follows by company’s management policy (=3.92, S.D.=0.598). factor employee engagement was in high level (=3.81, S.D.=0.550), follows by Behavior (=3.87, S.D.=0.580). (2) personal factors by age, experience, position is significantly related to employee engagement at .05 level, and (3) job satisfaction factors are significantly related to employee engagement at .01 level.
