Ancient Settlement Society of Thai-Laos Ethnic Group Related to Cultural Ecology of Harvesting Eels in Thailand and Lao PDR

The purposes of this research is 1) to study the ecology culture of the Thai – Laos 's Eels in Surin province, Thailand and Jampasak, Laos and 2) to analyze the composition of the ancient community related the Cultural Ecology of Harvesting Eels in Thailand. This research is Mixed Method researching. Collect information by interviewing. The information from 30 people leaders, seniors, philosophers and the ritual's leaders in Thailand. Collect information the examples group by questionnaires from 500 Community Society of Thai - Laos Ethnic Group in Surin, Thailand. Analyze the information by Technique Matters and Exploratory Factor Analysis. The research result finds out 1) The Ecology Culture of the Eels combination of Ecosystem of Eels Habitat, Ecology Culture of the Eels, the Culture of Villagers, the Ritual and Believe and the Ancient Community which connected the Ecology Culture of the Eels. 2) There are four compositions of the Ancient Community that related the Ecology Culture of the Eels in Thailand which (1) The Ecology Culture of the Eels in Ancient Community and the Royal Project. (2) The Ecology Culture of the Eels which related the importance of Economic, society and environment. (3) The Ecology Culture of the Eels related with the Local History. (4) The Ecology Culture of the Eels related to the Ancient Community of Moon's river.
