Factors Relating to Turnover Intention of Personnel in Office of Atom for Peace

Abstract

 The objectives of this study were 1) to study the turnover intention of personnel in Office of Atom for Peace 2) to study the job satisfaction of personnel in Office of Atom for Peace 3) to study the relational between job satisfaction and turnover intention of personnel in Office of Atom for Peace and 4) to compare the difference in turnover intention of personnel in Office of Atom for Peace classified by personal factors. The samples of the study were 175 personnel of the Office of Atom for Peace. Data Collection tool was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis consisted of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, One Way-ANOVA and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The results of the study showed that the personnel of the Office of Atom for Peace had a medium level of turnover intention. The job satisfaction was at a medium level. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that motivation factor in the matter of achievement, recognition, work itself, responsibility and advancement including hygiene factors in the matter of company policy and administration, supervision, relationship with supervisor, relationship with pears, working condition and salary were related to the turnover intention in the opposite direction at the .05 level of significance. Furthermore, it was found that different personal factors (e.g. age and type of personal) have different turnover intention with the statistical significance level of .05.
