Development of E-Book on the Principles of Food Selection under Home Economics Subject for Grade Nine Students at Wangmuangwittayakhom school

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to develop an E-Book to achieve an efficiency 80/80 criteria, to compare the students' learning achievements between before and after study and to study the students' satisfaction with the E-Book on the Principles of Food Selection under Home Economics subject for Grade Nine students. The population and the sample used in this research were 55 Grade Nine students at Wangmuangwittayakhom School, who have enrolled in the 1st semester, academic year 2021 from 2 rooms. The sample was obtained from a sample random sampling of 1 room with 26 people. The research instruments were: (1) E-Book on Principles of Food Selection. (2) A learning management plan using E-Book on Principles of Food Selection. (3) A test to measure learning achievement on the principle of food selection. The reliability value of the whole test was 0.98. The results were analyzed using mean, percentage, standard deviation, test innovation efficiency, t-test, and student satisfaction questionnaire with E-book on principles of food selection. The major findings indicated that (1) E-Book on the Principles of Food Selection was as efficient as 81.40/82.17, which met 80/80 criteria. (2) The learning achievement after study was higher than before with a statistically significant difference at the .05 level. (3) The students' satisfaction with the E-Book on the Principles of Food Selection on Home economics for Grade Nine students was at the highest level
