Abstract

The purpose of this research was 1) To study tourist behavior in Integrated Sustainable Gastronomy Tourism in Chonburi province. 2) To study the affecting travel decision factors of Thai tourists who come to sustainable integrated gastronomy attractions at Banglamung district Chonburi province to propose guidelines to promote sustainable food tourism in Chonburi Province. This is a quantitative research collected questionnaire data of 420 tourists visiting Chonburi province. The questionnaire data had been analyzed in descriptive statistics of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. For hypothesis testing by using the inferential statistics Chi-square test, T-test, One-way Anova and the test will be done in pairs with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) to determine statistical significance level at 0.05. The research result showed that 1) The tourism had the purpose of traveling for leisure / tourism, traveling with family, number of travel members 4-5 person, travel period is Saturday and Sunday, frequency of traveling 2-3 times, average travel expenses per person 1,001 - 3,000 baht Gastronomy tourism in Chonburi Province that the tourism liked after traveling is Koh Larn 2) Factors affecting decision making in the travel of tourists, including tourist attractions in terms of economic, conditions safety, difference food cultures, being known and famous and cost in tourism.
