Abstract

Research on New Public Management and the Efficiency of Supplies Management of the Bankok Office of Education aimed 1) to study the opinion level of the new public management of the Bangkok Education Bureau staff 2) to study the opinion level on the efficiency of supplies management of the Bangkok Education Bureau staff, and 3) to study the relationship between the new public management and the efficiency of supplies management of the Bangkok Education Bureau. The sample group used in studies is 269 people and analyzed by statistical data such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and relationship statistics. The results showed as follows: 1. Opinions about the new public management approach from the Bangkok Education Bureau found that personnel had a high level of opinions on the new public management approach. In order of importance from highest to lowest, they were as follows: Morality, Value, Rule of Law, Accountability, Transparency, and Participation. 2. Opinions on the efficiency of supplies management of the Bangkok Education Bureau found that personnel had an opinion that the efficiency of supplies management was at a high level. In order of importance from highest to lowest, they are as follows: Equal Service, Sufficient Service, Timely Service, Continuous Service, and Progressive Service. 3. The relationship between the new public management and the efficiency of supplies management of the Bangkok Education Bureau found that for the opinions of personnel, there was a statistically significant correlation at the .01 level in a positive direction with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.059, which was a high correlation.
