Abstract

Changes in the 21st century have brought about the challenges of the education system that must be adapted to keep up with the changing situations. Especially academic administration, which is the heart of every level of the school, because it is linked to the scope of work of the school in the development of educational quality to be modern. Leadership is therefore a very important component in academic administration to achieve the effectiveness of the school. Specifically, transformational leadership, a process in which Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Individualized Consideration and Intellectual Stimulation. Cleary, that these 4 behaviors can be applied in driving academic administration of schools to increase efficiency and effectiveness according to the context of schools. This article synthesizes contents that are linked to 3 issues: the concept of transformational leadership behavior; concept of academic administration and concepts of transformational leadership behavior with academic administration. This article focuses on applying the behavior of change leadership "4I’s to apply in academic administration of schools under the PDCA process and the concept of 3H (Head, Heart, Hand) in order to drive academic work to achieve sustainable efficiency and effectiveness
