The Factors Affecting Mathematical Literacy of Mathayomsuksa 1 Student in Nakhon Sawan City Municipality

Abstract

The research aimed 1) to study correlation of factors affecting Mathematical Literacy of Mathayomsuksa 1 students. 2) to construct equation for predicting the Mathematical Literacy of Mathayomsuksa 1 students in Nakhon Sawan City Municipality. Predictor variable: Self efficacy, Support of the Family, Motivation, Behavior of teaching, Mathematical conceptions. Criterion variable: Mathematical Literacy. The 250 sample were the mathayomsuksa 1 in Nakhon Sawan City Municipality in academic year 2022 from ratio sampling. The instrument was questionnaires of factors affecting Mathematical Literacy of Mathayomsuksa 1 students. The data was analyzed by the frequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise Regression Analysis. The result were as follows: 1) there were significantly positive correlation among the factor effecting on Mathematical Literacy of Mathayomsuksa 1 students  and Self efficacy (SE) at .05 level. that Support of the Family, Motivation, Mathematical conceptions were not significantly positive correlation among the factor effecting on Mathematical Literacy. And Behavior of teaching was not significantly negative correlation among the factor effecting on Mathematical Literacy. 2)  The significantly predicted equation of the factors affecting Mathematical Literacy of Mathayomsuksa 1 students in Nakhon Sawan City Municipality at .05 level as follows:
