Abstract

This research is proposed to 1) study the level of participation of general education in private schools under network of Suppamit 5 in Songkhla Province. 2) compare the guideline for the participation of general education in private schools under network of Suppamit 5 in Songkhla Province classified by gender, level of education, job position, working experience, and school size, and 3) correct the suggestions of the guideline for the participation of general education in private schools under network of Suppamit 5 in Songkhla Province. The samples consisted of 181 school administrators and teachers from general education in private schools under network of Suppamit 5 in Songkhla Province. The instrument for collecting the data was a questionnaire with a confidence value equivalent to .997 The statistics used for the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test and f-test. The research findings were as follows: 1) The level of the participation of general education in private schools under network of Suppamit 5 in Songkhla Province, overall was at a high level. ( =4.158, S.D. =.437) 2) The comparison of the participation of general education in private schools under network of Suppamit 5 in Songkhla Province on the bases of gender was different with statistical significance at the .05, level of education was different with statistical significance at the .001, job position was not different, working experience was different with statistical significance at the .01, and school size was different with statistical significance at the .05 3) There should be an exchange of learning between schools in the network to participate in developing effective teaching and learning management. Administrators and teachers should participate in the supervision to exchange of learning, support technology resources sufficiently for the demand for the benefit of education, and learners have life skills as well as able to live with others in society.
