Public Service Quality of Samutsakhon City Municipality

Abstract
The objective of this study were to 1) study the public service quality of Samutsakhon City Municipality including tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy and 2) study the relationship between service factors with public service quality of Samutsakhon City Municipality. Research study was conducted using a quantitative research methods. The data was also gathered through questionnaires answered by 400 samples of the service recipient who live in Samutsakhon City Municipality was carried out in order to obtain the data for the analysis and the discussion of results according to the specified research objective. The results revealed that the overall of public service quality level ; including tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy as the high level. The results of correlation test between service factors with public service quality of Samutsakhon City Municipality was relate at the high level (r = .767) at the statistical significance level of 0.05. Therefore, the Executives and relevant agencies should arrange activities to raise awareness of the service to employee of Samutsakhon City Municipality including activities to promote happiness at work for employees of Samutsakhon City Municipality able to work efficiently and effectively. Local administrators or community leaders or those involved in public services should encourage participation from officials or agencies in all sectors involved in providing public services to people in Samut Sakhon Municipality, including promoting the participation of people in proposing ideas or opinions on the development of public service quality to be in line with service needs appropriately and correctly.
