Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the principles of developing the quality of life of the new generation of Thai youth in Thai society. Qualitative research was used by analyzing the Thai Tripitaka, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University Edition, B.E. 2539, scriptures, books, textbooks, documents, articles and related research. The results of the research found that 1. The principles of developing the quality of life of the new generation in Thai society are as follows: 1) Develop to be a complete human being, that is, a human being with complete physical and mental health, being physically and intellectually healthy, understanding the feelings of others, understanding changing situations and environments. 2) Develop intelligence, that is, being able to think, consider, apply and understand the feelings of others. 3) Have a vision, that is, develop oneself in terms of knowledge, abilities, skills and democratic consciousness. 4) Be considerate of others and love lifelong learning. Develop oneself to be virtuous, keep promises and be honest for the benefit of the public, and know how to respect the rights of others. 5) Develop oneself to have a good culture. When dealing with the elderly, be proactive, grateful, polite, kind and respect others. Let's maintain discipline and unity, and be proud of being Thai. 2. The characteristics and behaviors of the new generation of Thai youth in Thai society found that they have problems of not listening to the elderly and having problems with learning. Having love in school age, having sex before the proper age, using drugs, having violent emotions, it's natural, teenagers and playing games. 3. Developing the quality of life of the new generation of youth. In order to develop children and youth to be good people, smart people, creative people, reasonable people, knowledgeable people and able to adapt well in a world of rapid change, integrate the principles of Buddhism.
