Job satisfaction of civil servants in Aircraft Maintenance Division 1, Department of Aeronautical Engineering

Abstract
This study aimed to study the level of job satisfaction of civil servants in Aircraft Maintenance Division 1, Department of Air Engineering, and to be a guideline for developing Aircraft Maintenance Division 1, Department of Air Engineering for sustainable organization growth. The study was conducted by categorizing personal basic factors, including gender, age, education level, job position, average monthly income, and length of employment. The sample group consisted of 195 civil servants in Aircraft Maintenance Division 1, Department of Air Engineering. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using a computer system using the SPSS statistical program to find percentages, means, and standard deviations, with a statistical significance level set at 0.05. The results of the study found that:
The results of the analysis of the overall job satisfaction of civil servants were at a high level when considering each of the 6 aspects. Satisfaction in terms of job characteristics had the highest average value of 3.83, followed by relationships with colleagues and superiors, policies and governance, job security, and advancement in job positions, respectively. Satisfaction in terms of salary and welfare had the lowest average value of 3.63.
