Administrator’s Characteristics as Preferred by Teachers’ in Mathayom Watnongchok School under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract
This research article aims to 1) study compare the administrators’ characteristics as preferred by teachers’ in Mathayom Watnongchok School under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2 classified by their genders, levels of education and working experience. 97 teachers in Mathayom Watnongchok School under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2 were selected as the samples for this study by means of stratified random sampling technique. Five level-rating scale questionnaires with 50 items and the reliability of .98 were used for collecting data. Percentage, means and standard deviations as well as t-test were used for data analysis.
The research findings are the following: Overall and each of the administrators’ characteristics as preferred by teachers’ in Mathayom Watnongchok School under Secondary Educational Service Area Office were at much level. In terms of examining in each characteristic, it could be ranked according to the means from more to less as leadership, morality, administrative skills and personality respectively. It was also found that there were no significant differences of the preferred characteristics exist among teachers’ genders, levels of education and working experience.
