School Administrators’ Leadership Affecting Academic Affairs Improvement of Schools in Buengkum District Bangkok Metropolis

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study, compare and recommend school administrators’ leadership affecting academic affairs improvement of schools in Buengkum District under Bangkok Metropolis. 170 school administrators, heads of academic affairs, heads of learning departments and teachers of schools in Buengkum District under Bangkok Metropolis were selected as the samples of target group for this study. Questionnaires were used for collecting data. Descriptive statistics as well as F-test were used for data analysis.
The research findings are as follows: Overall leadership of school administrators affecting academic affairs improvement of schools in Buengkum District under Bangkok Metropolis was at the most level. It was also found that there were no significant differences at .05 of school administrators’ leadership affecting academic affairs improvement of schools in Buengkum District under Bangkok Metropolis exist among target group’s genders, ages, levels of education, current positions and working experience. It was recommended that school administrators should focus more on school academic affairs management in supervision as well as monitoring and measurement so that they can raise up efficient management. They should also continually improve school academic affairs management. Since educational supervision affects overall learners’ quality, administrators, teachers and educational personnel should focus on supervision and continually supervise to encourage teaching-learning. Supervising committee should be set up so that it may be helpful for better learners’ quality.
