Parents’ Desires for Educational Management of Banponko School Under Nakhon Phanom Primary Education Service Area Office 2

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study and compare parents’ desires in educational management of Phone Kor School under the jurisdiction of Nakhonphanom Educational Service Area Office 2 in 3 components: providing learning-teaching experience and activities, environmental management in schools, and providing students’ services. Five point rating scale of 33 item questionnaires were used as the instruments for collecting data. 218 parents of the students in Phone Kor School in the academic year 2017 were selected as the saples of the study. Frequency, %, and SD were calculated by means of SPSS program as data analysis.
The research findings are as follows: 1) Parents’ desires for overall educational management of Phone Kor School under the jurisdiction of Nakhonphanom Educational Service Area Office 2 was at much level with = 4.26 whereas their desires for providing learning-teaching experience and activities, environmental management in schools, and students’ services were also at much level with = 4.23, 4.30 and 4.24 respectively. 2) In terms of the parents’ desires according to their ages and levels of education, it was found that there were no significantly statistical differences at .05 in both overall and components. Nevertheless, their desires significantly differed at .05 only for providing learning-teaching experience and activities. Questionnaires were used as the instruments for collecting data.
