Working Motivation of Personnel in the Office of the Basic Education Commission Ministry of Education

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study and compare working motivation of the personnel in Office of the Basic Education Commission Ministry of Education classified by genders and types of the personnel. Questionnaires were used as the instruments for collecting data from 304 samples. %, , SD.
The research findings are as follows: 1) In terms of incentive factors, it was found that the personnel had much working motivation in 4 components ranking from their means as responsibility, job accomplishment, job description and being accepted respectively. However, they had working motivation at moderate level in growth of career path. In terms of supportive factors, it was found that the personnel had much working motivation in 4 components ranking from their means as relationship with administrators, relationship with colleagues, working environment and job security. Nevertheless, they had working motivation at moderate level in salary and result of return. 2) It was found that there were no significant differences of working motivation exist between genders. However, there were significant differences of working motivation exist among types of personnel at .05. Furthermore, the post hoc comparison analysis showed that the government official group had significantly more working motivation than those of part time employees.
