Basic economics of Mathayom 1/5 students of Phra Narai School using mind maps.

Abstract

This research article aims to develop the learning achievement in the subject of Social Studies, Religion and Culture, Basic Economics, of Mathayom 1/5 students at Phra Narai School. The experiment was conducted with a sample group of Mathayom 1/5 students at Phra Narai School, Mueang Lop Buri District, Lop Buri Province, Semester 1, Academic Year 2019. The experiment lasted 1 hour. The index of consistency (IOC) was between 0.50 and 1.00, indicating that it was valid. This indicates that the results were very appropriate. The learning achievement of students who were taught using mind maps in the subject of Social Studies, Religion and Culture, Basic Economics, Mathayom 1/5 had a higher average learning achievement score after learning than before learning, with a statistically significant difference at the .05 level.


The results of the research found that the learning management plan for the subject of Social Studies, Religion and Culture, Basic Economics, of Mathayom 1/5 students using mind maps was effective and could be used in learning management. The highest mean (x ̅) was 4, 3.67, 0.33 and 3, respectively, which showed that the results were in the very appropriate range. This was because the learning management plan that the researcher created according to the process, namely, the analysis of the curriculum, activities, learning content and indicators of the social studies, religion and culture subjects, organized into learning units, and studied and researched learning innovations, namely, learning management using mind maps, which is a widely accepted form of organizing learning activities. It used a variety of media and learning resources, as well as real-world assessments, resulting in the learning management plan having a very appropriate quality.
