Abstract

Interregional relations have played a major role in global economic, political and social cooperation of the post - Cold War era. This research firstly defines the differentiation of the international system. Then cooperation between Asia and Europe is studied through the framework of the Asia - Europe Meeting (ASEM). As a result, it is quite difficult to quantify the evidence of economic improvement through ASEM. Rather, it?s essential to take a closer look at political and social aspects of ASEM, especially the social network and contribution of the civil society among member countries of ASEM.
