Distribution of Elementary Teachers : Effects upon Passing ratio and Student Ability

Abstract

Equality in education is one of the targets for educational development in the elementary level. The important issue that should be considered is the quantitative distribution of elementary school teachers. The objectives of this investigation were: 1) to analyze student-teacher ratio and teacher classroom ratio of the elementary school: 2) to study the relationship between student-teacher ratio, teacher-classroom ratio and student passing ratio student basic ability in Thai and mathematics: and 3) to compare student passing ratio and student basic ability among school that had different student-teacher ratio and teacher-classroom ratio. The data were collected from the secondary source the National Council of Education.
